Research: Introduction

As a hospital pharmacist, it is essential to have some research skills. We all need to understand how to evaluate and improve the services we offer to patients and colleagues, and how to evolve to meet changing NHS demands. One way to do this is with research because it gives us an evidence base to work with. Research requires quite a wide range of skills, so this tutorial is a brief introduction. It focuses on some of the expertise that you may need early in your career, and is aimed at foundation pharmacists.
