If you are interested in some of the theory behind effective teaching, try the CPPE programme 'Helping others to learn'. We have already signposted to this, but as a reminder for help with delivering your teaching confidently, you could try 'Presenting well'. 


In 2003 the BMJ published a helpful series on different aspects of learning and teaching in medicine. Despite their age, most of the content is still relevant. Useful papers in this series include;
